Just heard the news! What will I do without my weekly crossword.!!!
I hope you do an online magazine, I’ll subscribe.
Hi Anne… this site is nothing to do with the Listener, it is just the place where I post solutions to the crosswords I like solving. For more info see: http://www.verso.net.nz/about-pavlovas-crossword-solutions/
OK, so where else would I find your crosswords? It took me about 2 years to teach myself how to do these, takes me a week now to do. Living well away from town, no postal service (true), I don’t get them regularly. While we are in lock down I’ve been coaching a friend how to do these, she’s hooked.
Anne, I don’t create the Tossman crosswords – like you, I just enjoy solving the crosswords. With the Listener disappearing, I have considered writing some cryptic crosswords so watch this space! You might also like the Kropotkin and Observer Everyman crosswords that appear in the NZ Herald – I also post my answers to them on this site. They are a bit harder than Tossman. But I guess if you don’t have a postal service, you probably won’t have access to the newspaper 🙂
Thanks.
Read the papers on line, or wait 2-3 days for old news.
I’ll sort something out.
Thanks for your prompt replies.
🙂
Yes, plenty of cryptics online I think. Good luck…
